aespa VR Concert

Produced by Studio A, SM Entertainment & AmazeVR’s first joint production utilizing new proprietary technology to produce immersive VR Concerts for artists globally at scale. We are redefining the future of VR Concerts, and building the next stage of music. The World Premiere of aespa’s VR Concert at KWANGYA showcased at the 2023 SXSW XR Experience.

Users are invited to KWANGYA by being virtually flown into the FLAT as a butterfly, and introduced to a world that will be SM Entertainment’s signature KWANGYA stage for all SM artists VR Concerts. When users arrive into the FLAT, aespa is welcoming them, and they can see other butterflies fluttering around the FLAT. After aespa’s first two performances in the FLAT, the artist and users move together to KWANGYA Stadium. While transitioning, aespa sings their fan song “Life’s Too Short” and in the Stadium will begin performing a new song and close with “Next Level”. Together with SM Entertainment’s Creative Team and artist aespa, powered by AmazeVR’s proprietary tech, this experience will allow aespa fans to engage up close and intimately with both the artists and their stories in a way not possible anywhere else.
