EDEN (2018) was created in the 2018 Central Asian 48 Hour Film Race of the US Embassy of Kazakhstan. A short 4 minute film of Adam, who one day witnesses Eve take a bite out of an apple… then suddenly a glitch happens.

THE 48 HOUR FILM RACE
Within 48 hours, you must create a film: write a script, film it, edit it, and export it within 48 hours.. and compete to be the best storyteller. The moment the race begins, all contestants are given a key phrase, certain props, and a certain character that MUST put into the film, and incorporate the script to flow around those elements. This particular year, these were the key elements that were given as a requirement: An apple, a needle, a person with a hat, and the phrase: “Do you speak English?” And then, the race began.

“This was one of the most original films, especially to be able to create within only 48 hours. The ability to incorporate the biblical iconic story into this fantasy narrative is truly amazing. In all the fantasy films from the Matrix or other films alike, I have not seen anything like this. Truly a creative story. This story should be developed into a feature length film.”
